UWDN organizes and advocates for the dignity and fair treatment of immigrant youth and families, regardless of immigration status. Over 60% of our members are womxn and 20% identify as LGBTQ. We have provided core support for its campaigns, including projects such as the Queer Undocumented Immigrant Project (QUIP), which seeks to organize and empower LGBTQ undocumented people; the Education Not Deportation (END) Program, which was created to stop the deportation of Dreamers and their families by highlighting their stories and galvanizing support from the community; and the DREAM Educational Empowerment Program (DEEP), which facilitates educational justice and empowerment for immigrant students.
With our members, we will fight for policies that help people without hurting people and ensure that we have champions in all levels of government.
