Championships, showcasing his ability to rack up the footy.The ready-made midfield/forward was tipped to go higher than pick 11 so the Suns will be very happy with Flanders.A contested beast who will run all day often makes for a handy Supercoach pick up so we'll be keeping a very close eye on this bloke.Be careful though -marking forwards aren't always the best option in Supercoach, young ones in particular.A big-bodied midfielder who can also go forward, Anderson isn't expected to be as prolific as Rowell though the wraps on him are still pretty big.Elite endurance is the father-son pick's biggest asset, but there's plenty more to his game than that.Showed all the poise and skill required to succeed at the level and gets in well under the weights.Big-bodied but also capable of bringing the ball out of the backline.The Western Australian looks as if he could be ready to go early in the season and his dual-position status makes him very enticing.He's continued to impress since then, pushing his case for a spot in a competitive Collingwood engine room.The Crows took him with pick six in the draft and he's impressed in pre-season.If he can get his body right and get back to near his best (averaged 95+ in 2014 and 2015) he might be the buy of the season.The 20th pick in last year's draft, Philp shouldn't be too far off Carlton's best 22 from the get go.The versatile tall did his round one hopes no harm over the Marsh Series.The midfielder got his AFL career off to the perfect start when he won the Magpies' 2km time-trial shortly after being drafted.Will be a tough task getting a game in a competitve Pies outfit, but one to keep an eye on in pre-season.Fortunately that means he's very well-priced this time around if he can earn a place in Richmond's quality midfield.An inside midfielder, the father-son recruitwill have to impress to get a game in Port Adelaide's engine room.Generally deployed on a wing, the South Australian should provide some of the outside run the Swans desperately need.Impressed in Marsh 1 and definitely one to keep an eye out for ahead round one.A first-round pick who was considered among the leading small forwards in his draft class.He's certainly an expensive rookie but that price might look cheap if the ball magnet takes to AFL like most expect.Could he potentially line up alongside Charlie Dixon in the forward line player who gets plenty of the footy and generally finds a teammate by foot.Often finds himself bringing the footy out from defence so should have no problem scoring if he can get a game.With dual-position status, don't be surprised to see him in our team from round one if he performs in pre-season.Whether you got off to a flyer or your pre-season plans came to nothing, the coronavirus shutdown has given Supercoaches the chance to push the reset button on season 2020.If the former number three pick hits his stride, he should prove a very safe selection.Though with GWS' depth in midfield, and an expensive rookie price, he will have to really catch our eye in pre-season to get a start in our team.Gets in at a price that makes him hard to ignore, though pre-season knee surgery will sideline him for six weeks.The Victorian got to the Giants with pick four and looks set to add to the club's stocks of rebounding defenders.Didn't play a game in 2019 and featured just twice the season before - a record that's sure to scare many Supercoaches off.A bloke who averaged over 95 three seasons in a row and over 100 in 2017 is now priced at almost bottom dollar.The young ruckman found himself in the middle of a tug-of-war for his services before making his senior debut.Another player who probably would be a lock at a club with a weaker midfieldbut may struggle to get into the Giants' team.The small forward might have gone earlier than pick 34 had a hand injury not cut his draft year short.It was never forthcoming but now with another pre-season under the belt, he remains well and truly on the radar.The mid-size forward kicked 20 goals in the ten VFL games after joining the Roos from Glenelg.Clean by foot and boasts plenty of running power.The young Lion is entering his third year on the list and has played five senior games.The number three pick went to the Dees in what was a slight surprise given Max Gawn and Brayden Preuss are both at the club.The dashing left-footer was taken with the 14th pick in the 2017 draft but injuries have cruelled his first two years on the Swans' list.With another pre-season under his belt, Caldwell, who averaged 21 touches a wraps on him are on the money, he'll play senior footy in 2020.That troublesome calf looks set to keep him out of action for the early part of the season.Hosie may be one of the players to get a chance under new coach Rhyce Shaw.Powerfully built and strong in the contest, the Victorian should hit the ground running in 2020.Finished as the U18 National Championships leading goalkicker, and with the Dogs short on smalls around the big sticks, he should feature early in the season.Fast cash generation is going to be the name of the game, so you need the right rookies in your team.Not really an accumalator of the footy at this stage so his Supercoach valueremains to be seen.Certainly did all the right things in his draft year, averaging more than 20 disposals a game to earn All Australian U18 selection.Tom Doedee suffered a slight setback to his knee which should help his chances of selection.It looks as if the gamble may pay off for the Power, with the athletic youngster impressing in the intra-club match.While key defenders often aren't great pick ups in Supercoach, if McAsey does play this year he'll likely be given some license to roam.The talented small forward was on track to be the most-owned player come round one but shoulder niggle may just delay his start to the season.Not afraid to lay a tackle either which just adds to his scoring potential.Managed just one in 2019 as Brisbane enjoyed a charmed run with injuries.Next Thursday's team selection announcement might just be the most important night of the Supercoach year.Came off the ground with a "back-related hamstring issue" in a trial match, so beware.Now, he wouldn't be the only player at a new club who we're hearingis training the house down, but we're pretty interested.Can play both inside and outside and at eitherof the ground, meaning he'll be knocking on the door if a place opens up.New coach Matthew Nicks has committed to blooding youth, meaning a senior debut could beckon for McHenry after he impressed in the SANFL when fit last year.Could potentially play forward but even then there's competition from Tom McDonald and Sam Weideman.The dual-position status for the former Swan could prove very handy for plenty of Supercoaches in 2020.Second-year player who didn't set the world alight in his two games last year.He's not about to unseat Brodie Grundy for the Pies' number one ruck spot but if he can get a game in the forward line he's sure to be in a lotof teams.Yet to debut and facing plenty of competition, though worth monitoring even as a potential downgrade later on.He's in our team for now though didn't play in Marsh II which is a slight concern.The extended layoff has given plenty of established names time to get over injuries so places in round two teams will be hard to come by.Sidelined with an ACL injury, he opted to stick with the Bombers long-term.If he can get near his best, he'll prove a very profitable cash cow option though he is currently sidelined with yet another hamstring issue.The manwho debuted and almost won the Norm Smith Medal in the Tigers' grand final triumph gets his first crack at a full AFL season.Port took the tall forward with the 18th pick in the draft, with the Western Australian perhaps sliding further than expected after missing the year with injury.If Zac Williams and Lachie Whitfield continue in their roles further up the field, it could open the door for Ash.Fortunately, we're here to help - read on for our guide on which rookies to hang onto, which ones to ditch and which one you need in dual-position status.Will almost certainly get the nod for round one after being put on ice for the second half of the Suns' second pre-season hit out.Definitely one to watch over the Marsh Series.Yet another dual-position player for our consideration.The nephew of Norm Smith Medal winner Byron Pickett got to the Dees with pick 12, meaning he's not quite bottom dollar, but the expectations are high.Small defender Blake Hardwick has been ruled out for three months after rupturing a pec and Greaves may be the man to benefit.Update: Plenty of talen, maybe a downgradeoption later in the year.The Power nailed it last year with Connor Rozee, Xavier Duursma and Zak Butters all proving they're up the standard.Another experienced player who is priced like a rookie after struggles with injury.Blessed with a lethal left foot and a tendancy to come up with intercept possessions, he has all the tools to be a Supercoach gun.At 204cm, he can create plenty of problems for opposition defences, just as he showed in the first pre-season game.Sturt's first year on the Dockers list was hampered by a pair of concussions, limiting his chances to push for a case at AFL level.Some recruiters likened the Giants Academy product to Patrick Cripps so it was a surprise to see him slip to pick 10.Young got to the Dockers with pick seven and should get games early.As well as the extra trades and shortened season, prices will now change after round two, instead of round three, so if you bugger it up, you may as well head off for your end-of-season trip.Hopefully his versality will see him get plenty of game time, though that could also lead to plenty of headaches of us Supercoaches.An absolute livewire, the South Australian kicks goals, tackles and takes big grabs.Didn't play a game through injury last season so comes in at a bargain price.If his pre-season efforts demand a place in Leon Cameron's side, he'll probably get one in ours too.The number two pick ended up at Gold Coast alongside best mate Rowell and they look set to form quite the combination.The big-bodied midfielder was picked up as a rookie after impressing with Williamstown last season.As always, rookie forwards will be tough to settle on, so let's hope there's some safe bets out there.Though that injury means it may not be until the back half of the season.Dominated in Marsh One and then sat out the
