It also offers useful and updated information to any company across the Network ‘PuntoPyme’ (SME info point). The population aged 30-34 with tertiary education reached 37.6% in 2018, ranking the region in the last and 17th place among the Spanish autonomous communities, a figure below the national and EU average of 42,4% and 40,7%, respectively (Eurostat, 2018). This is still above the national average (15.3%) and far above the EU average (6.9%). The municipality shares borders with Librilla in its north, Murcia in its northeast, Fuente Álamo de Murcia in its east, Mazarrón in its south, Totana in its west and Mula in its northwest. Its function is to promote and stimulate regional development and economic growth. The industrial structure of the Region of Murcia is mainly formed by two types of industries.
