I was looking at the golden shades but they didn’t seem quite right. Which is about now. I am not sure if the same colour system runs throughout all their ranges though. I am a makeup newbie, and it is so hard to find my color.

I can’t decide..I thought it might be a useful tool for any of you out there who are of a similar colouring and/or skin type as me, medium skin tone with warm, yellow undertones, for me to list all the foundations I’ve used and what shade I am in each one when I am tanned (equivalent to MAC NC35-NC40) and when I’m not so tanned (equivalent to MAC NC25-NC30) . When I was ordering it, 55 looked too dark so now I’m afraid I made a mistake! I have been pouring over sites to try and find my color in other brands and so happy I found your post! no tan whatsoever, I reckon 53 would be perfect. This means we have neutral (N), cool (C) undertones and we have light skin. We’ve used both the fluid and stick versions of Studio Fix and prefer the former.The stick costs the same as the fluid foundation, though, so this is an expensive way to keep our skin looking flawless.However, the pump can be rinsed and reused so you’ll at least only have to make this purchase once. Despite its thick consistency, once the Studio Fix foundation is on the skin, it doesn’t feel too heavy or matte.
For my tan skin, i use rimmel lasting finish in shade 303 true nude. Feels and looks so natural.Medium- buildable coverage with a matte finish.have u tried the tarte rain forest of the sea foundation?
55 is only a touch darker for me but perfect for when I have a tan. Where have you been all my life? I’m not sure what shade to getOh my god! Classic school girl error. I’ve seen many of these threads on the internet and find them very useful so I hope this may prove useful for some of you out there.I’ve also found with some foundations is that what I previously thought was the right shade of foundation for me is no longer the case as it’s the classic case of what colour your skin is on the tan scale when you first try and subsequently buy the foundation.
