I think if we got the story from her perspective it would be easier to sympathize with her over the literal hitman, but since we're seeing it from Barry's eyes we see his genuine but preposterously failed attempts at turning over a new leaf. And he certainly can't act his way out of his old life. Barry and Walter are both really bad people, but the audience roots for them as the protagonists and because we get attached. In a way it's what makes her relationship with Barry possible. The audience loves it.In Season 1, what made Sally’s character so inherently comical was how naïvely she glommed onto Barry’s projected, false version of himself. Barry killed one of his best friends because he would threaten his lifestyle.I feel like they’re trying to lay down more of her selfishness this season, in my opinion Sally is just there as a very typical wannabe actress that Barry fell for because he wanted something of a normal life.

Skylar wasn't actually a bitch, she only came off that way because the story is told from Walt's perspective, whereas Sally is just a genuinely selfish, controlling, manipulative person when she's first introduced as a character.Lol, same here.
