There is a fairly large parking lot, although the park can get busy during the summer months when many travelers pass through the area.The Nlaka’pamux and Sto:lo First Nations have lived for thousands of years along the Fraser Canyon. Alexandra Bridge If you feel like a short walk and a view into British Columbia's past, visit the Alexandra Bridge just south of Boston Bar on Trans-Canada Hwy 1. Just upriver of the bridge, there was once an important village called Kequeloose that boasted a large population supported by the river’s abundant salmon resource. The construction of the road through the Fraser Canyon was a difficult task and, at the time, a major engineering feat. The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure awarded the contract for the construction of the Alexandra Bridge Rehabilitation and Seismic Safety Retrofit to Surespan Construction in 2017.

Written in 2003: The old (actually, the second) Alexandra Bridge, unused by vehicles since 1964, provides the last physical evidence of the scale of highways and bridges in the Fraser Canyon – indeed, on the Trans Canada highway in BC – in the 1950s and before. Located only 21 km (13 miles) south from Boston Bar and 11 km (7 miles) north of Yale, Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park is the site of a historic suspension bridge that crosses a narrow channel on the Fraser River. Today a second bridge, built in 1926, sits on the site of the original which was dismantled in 1912.
